We at Red Rose Hill are dedicated to making our home accessible to all of our guests as well as we can.
What venue accessibility means
An accessible venue allows individuals with disabilities to participate in events and celebrations with the same level of comfort and enjoyment as other guests. This can be achieved through the physical features of the venue and by providing necessary accommodations.
Statement of partial compliance with the standard due to historical architectural limitations
The accessibility of certain areas within the venue are limited by historical architectural features. We acknowledge that there may be limitations in achieving full compliance in these areas and are working towards finding suitable solutions. We have designed and adapted our venue to ensure compliance with accessibility guidelines. This is a historic home, however, and unfortunately there are stairs or unpaved areas at every entrance. The main level bathroom is also quite narrow and cannot accommodate a wheelchair. We are working to find solutions to this situation, because we have loved ones that require these accomodations. This statement is not made to turn folks away, but to fully disclose that, as a historic home, we are still searching for solutions for those with accessibility needs.
